“Happiness is the best makeup you can wear on your wedding day.”

For a bride-to-be, watching Noor- A Signature Bridal Collection unfold at Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI 2025 felt like stepping into a dream. Held in New Delhi on October 11th, 2025, this stunning collaboration between Lakmē Salon and designers Ridhi Bansal and Mohit Rai of ITRH beautifully captured what every modern Indian bride desires- a perfect blend of tradition, artistry, and confidence.
The runway came alive with the glow of Sheesh Pushida Jaal mirror work, gota patti, zardozi, and antique brocade- every outfit a reflection of India’s rich heritage, brought to life with a bold, contemporary spirit. Each model embodied a different facet of “Noor,” meaning light, radiant, powerful, and deeply feminine. When Tabu walked as the showstopper, the moment was pure magic, bringing the collection’s story to a graceful close.

Lakmē Salon’s beauty team, in sync with the designers, crafted makeup and hairstyles that elevated every look. The brides on the runway glowed with luminous, jewel-inspired makeup- soft velvet skin, holographic eyes, and metallic nude lips. Their hair, adorned with braids, roses, and elegant buns, was styled to perfection, complementing each ensemble effortlessly.

Mr. Vipul Chaturvedi, CEO of Lakmē Lever, described Noor as a celebration of every bride’s inner radiance- a beautiful harmony of couture and beauty. The collection showcased how bridal looks can be both timeless and trendsetting, blending elegance with individuality.

The Designers Behind the Dream:

Ridhi Bansal, known for her fearless approach to design, believes in honoring Indian craftsmanship while giving it a modern voice. Her creations speak to brides who want to embrace tradition yet make their own statement. For her, Noor was about pushing creative boundaries while celebrating the skill of artisans whose hands bring these stories to life.
Mohit Rai, on the other hand, sees fashion as storytelling, weaving threads of heritage into contemporary expressions. His use of thousands of mirrors in the Sheesh Pushida Jaal work created a living tapestry on the runway. He calls the collection “a statement of confidence and modernity,” rooted deeply in culture yet unapologetically bold.

The Artistry of Lakmē Salon :

From the backstage to the runway, Lakmē Salon’s creative team translated couture into beauty. National Creative Directors Gayetri Chakravarty (Make-Up) and Audrey D’Souza (Hair) brought each look to life with glowing skin, metallic eyes, and hairstyles that mirrored royal elegance, a perfect reflection of how modern brides want to look on their big day: radiant, confident, and uniquely themselves.
