I’m singing in the rain, just singing in the rain; What a wonderful feeling, I’m happy again.

I love rains! I love the way nature dances with happiness in rain, my heart & soul feel same with joy. To many, rain could be a messy weather, but to me its another way to show our gratitude to nature, our creator.
when it comes to fashion, I think we shall never count rain a hurdle to dress up. There are many fabrics like cool cottons, crepes, dupions, which can be designed in no fuss patterns. These fabrics help to check the humidity of this season, and make you feel cool. I am sharing some designs which can be wore with panache’, & very less maintenance.
Gauri Khan For Satya Paul:
When Gauri Khan presented her label for Satya Paul at Lakme Fashion Week, everyone thought, another saree line from the brand Satya Paul. Post show, everyone was gaga with collection. From maxi dress to kaftan, silhouettes to sarees, every dress was so wearable. The collection is in crepe and chiffon, soothing & stylish.
My pick for this monsoon is maxi dresses, kaftan-could be paired with legging or pencil pants; sarees always-who can forget Sridevi of Mr.India movie in rain dance.
Zubair Kirmani:
His knee legth dresses are easy to carry, and fabrics like crepe’ and georgette makes easy to maintain. Colours like aqua blue in shibori tie & dye went very well in his collection. A must have for this season.
