Cafe Public Connection, Connaught Place set out to bring in a newfangled aura to the social circuit of the capital with the launch of their Glam & Grub Wednesday Nights uniting fashion with food with a whole new sizzle. This edition of the concept night unveiled the delectable array of Kebabs with a whole new taste and feel to it. The launch edition took off with a fashion extravaganza by renowned designers Joy Mitra & Ambar Pariddi Sahai. The colorful soiree was well attended by the crème de la crème of the society with many posing as muses for the designers.
Participating in the show were artist Vibha Galhotra, make-up artist Gopika Pillai, Choreographer Rashmi Varmani, TV host & Columnist Shefali Talwar, Super Models Sonalika Sahay & Donna Katherine Masih. Amongst those who attended were Socialites Ramola Bachchan. While Ambar Pariddi Sahai showcased her fine jewelry line taking inspiration from Snow White with everlasting Gold nestling with Diamonds, Polkis, Sapphires and Pearls; Joy Mitra’s ensembles had an influence of western medieval style in silhouettes and bugs, butterflies, dragon flies & creepers as motifs.
