Falguni Shane Peacock opened FDCI’s Hyundai India Couture Week 2026 with Le Grand Voyage at Taj Palace, New Delhi. The showcase explored the romance of travel through architecture, history and Indian couture craftsmanship. This season, the designer duo traces an extraordinary journey across continents, drawing from the Byzantine mosaics of Rome, the Belle Époque elegance of Paris, the Gothic splendour of Strasbourg, the regal palaces of Bavaria and the timeless magnificence of the Taj Mahal.
An Ode to the Legacy of India:
Le Grand Voyage travelled across continents through its visual references. Falguni Shane Peacock translated the influences from their artistic journey into handcrafted couture and created it with Indian embroideries & aesthetics and presented tapestry jackets, embroidered lehengas and sherwanis, sculpted corsetry, dramatic capes and statement eveningwear. Architecture shaped the structure, while intricate beading and embroidery gave even sarees and suits the global appeal . Le Grand Voyage couture is for the modern traveller who collects art, culture and craftsmanship.
