House of Rohit Bal unveiled their latest couture DASTKAR, at Hyundai India Couture Week 2026, where it emerged as a celebration of the master artisans whose craftsmanship has shaped one of India’s most revered fashion houses for over three decades. The collection was a heartfelt tribute to Rohit Bal legacy by his artisans whose skill, patience and extraordinary dedication have remained the foundation of the House of Rohit Bal’s timeless legacy.
DASTKAR showed us, how much Rohit Bal has been missed by his team and FDCI, and how much his artisans are dedicated to keep his legacy till eternity. This is first time in my understanding, any Indian Designer House has hired Creative Director, and who is also dedicated to take the House’s enduring legacy forward with same aesthetic. Fraze Tasnim, the Creative Director of House of Rohit Bal says “DASTKAR is our deepest expression of gratitude.” And it is so evident that DASTKAR was an acknowledgement of the countless hands of embroiderers, weavers, dyers, pattern makers and karigars that have quietly transformed artistic vision of Late Rohit Bal into garments of exceptional beauty, preserving centuries-old traditions while continually redefining the possibilities of Indian couture.
